Seven-Day Continuous Glucose Monitoring
To detect or to rule out asymptomatic hypoglycemic episodes in diabetes mellitus patients, we hold our weekly iPro Clinic on Mondays. For example, the device can capture dangerously low overnight blood sugar levels which often go undetected, reveal high blood sugar levels between meals, show early morning spikes in blood sugar, evaluate how diet and exercise affect blood sugars, and provide up to a 7-day complete review of the effects of changes.
Thyroid Biopsy
Dr. Kohler is certified and experienced with performing fine needle aspiration (FNA) of the thyroid gland to test for potential malignancies. The specimen obtained is tested at a pathology laboratory as specified by patient insurance plans. If warranted, we also obtain DNA testing of the specimen to provide a full spectrum of choices to the patient for further recommendation of treatment.
Ultrasound Services
Our Technician is a certified diagnostic medical sonographer. We conduct imaging of the thyroid gland.
